Elizabeth Steele

Elizabeth Steele obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Cal State Fullerton and worked for two years at a community health center providing case management services to clients with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses, many of whom were dually diagnosed with substance use disorders. She has a true passion for working with individuals suffering from addiction, and she went on to get her Master’s in Addiction Counseling at the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies. While at Hazelden, Elizabeth worked on female-specific units at the facility’s adult and adolescent young adult treatment centers. She also worked with the male population at Hazelden’s residential extended care program. Elizabeth joined the Northbound team in January of 2013 and leads an experienced, skilled team of addiction professionals as Program Manager of the Intensive Outpatient Program.
