On November 16th, 2012 I had one of the most memorable moments in my life. I proposed to my future wife, Ashley!! 28 months ago I couldn’t even wipe my own ass, let alone provide for myself. Through the grace of God I was able to come to my senses and realize how unmanageable my life had become. I finally admitted I was powerless over alcohol. After surrendering, jumping into the program of AA and handing my life over to god, throughout the last 2 years I’ve been able to do a full 180. I can actually say I’ve manned up and taken responsibility. I used to think being the man consisted of how much you could drink, how much blow you could put up your nose, how many girls you could get with and what material assets you owned. After 28 months of sobriety I can see clearly. My thoughts, priorities, relationships and visions are totally different. It’s amazing what can happen in your life if you surrender, take guidance and have faith in something greater then yourself.
