Vincent has a clear understanding about the intricacies of Northbound’s mission to assist our clients in celebrating one year of continuous sobriety –- as an alumnus himself, he has previously completed the journey.
His work in behavioral healthcare since has included time applying specialized treatment within the social clinical modality, providing therapy for parolees and those in the homeless community affected by co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Vincent transitioned the emphasis of his school coursework from communications to assisting those struggling with the chronic disease of addiction and its impact on the brain, which he considers a true calling. He lists spending time with his friends and family, attending concerts, going to the beach and staying active as his favorite extracurricular activities.
