Jennifer is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and has been working in the field of addiction and mental health since 2013. Jennifer completed her Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
Prior to coming to Northbound, Jennifer worked as a counselor for adolescents struggling with addiction and eating disorders and has experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds. She uses a variety of theoretical approaches to help clients overcome their deep-seated issues, including psychodynamic perspectives, cognitive behavior therapy, and narrative therapy.
Jennifer is passionate about helping people live their most authentic lives and believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship. In her role as a therapist in Northbound’s Women’s Core program, she believes that women are remarkably resilient and that the strongest women have experienced struggle.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family, cooking, traveling, and crafting.
