The initial phase of addiction recovery involves detoxification, which entails the safe and medically supervised removal of addictive toxins from the body of an individual struggling with substance abuse. This process helps to stabilize the person’s physical and mental health and alleviates the withdrawal symptoms associated with stopping the use of drugs or alcohol. Following detoxification, the person can transition to a residential or outpatient addiction treatment program.

Medical professionals provide support, guidance, and a high level of care around the clock.
Our residential treatment centers in California provide the following:

Typically, individuals in outpatient programs have transitioned from residential treatment and need to continue their recovery. Instead of living at the facility, patients live at home while attending weekly treatment sessions and counseling for as long as necessary. While living independently, patients are taught coping skills and provided with resources to help manage their condition and avoid the urge to use substances, as there is no 24/7 supervision.
