Newport Beach Addiction Recovery Services

Drug and Alcohol Detox in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa

The initial phase of addiction recovery involves detoxification, which entails the safe and medically supervised removal of addictive toxins from the body of an individual struggling with substance abuse. This process helps to stabilize the person’s physical and mental health and alleviates the withdrawal symptoms associated with stopping the use of drugs or alcohol. Following detoxification, the person can transition to a residential or outpatient addiction treatment program.

Our drug and alcohol detox centers in California provide the following:

  • Medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
  • Medication management
  • 24-hour nursing staff
  • Therapeutic interventions & activities
  • Daily visits with experienced addiction doctors
  • Individual and group therapy

Costa Mesa and Newport Beach Residential Treatment

Residential treatment is a form of addiction treatment that requires patients with severe levels of addiction to live in a rehab facility throughout their recovery process. This provides patients with an opportunity to focus on their recovery with limited distractions in a structured program with a routine. Medical professionals provide support, guidance, and a high level of care around the clock.

Our residential treatment centers in California provide the following:

  • Individual and group therapy
  • Psychiatric care
  • 12-step immersion
  • Life skills development
  • 4-Day intensive family program
  • Conflict resolution

Costa Mesa and Newport Beach Outpatient Rehab

Outpatient treatment is a program designed for people with moderate to less severe levels of addiction. Typically, individuals in outpatient programs have transitioned from residential treatment and need to continue their recovery. Instead of living at the facility, patients live at home while attending weekly treatment sessions and counseling for as long as necessary. While living independently, patients are taught coping skills and provided with resources to help manage their condition and avoid the urge to use substances, as there is no 24/7 supervision.

Our outpatient treatment centers in California provide the following:

  • Individual and group therapy
  • Individual case management
  • Therapeutic toxicology services
  • Recreational activities
  • Day and evening programming
  • Vocational and academic support

Dual Diagnosis Treatment in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa

In California, there are many instances of dual diagnosis, where individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs) also experience mental health disorders. This highlights the co-occurrence of addiction and mental illness in the area.

These disorders may include the following:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Personality Disorder
  • ADHD
  • Bipolar

The California Health Care Almanac reports that 34.4% of adults who received mental health services had a mental illness and substance use disorder. Our mental health facility in Newport Beach, California, offers dual diagnosis treatment for people living with both issues. We understand the difficulty of managing symptoms of mental illness while overcoming addiction and provide help and hope for those working through these challenges.

Yes, visitors are allowed at Northbound Treatment upon clinical review and approval. We strongly encourage families to attend our comprehensive monthly Family Program.

Our mission is to prioritize your health over our profit margins. We will assist you in finding a manageable solution for you or your loved one.

Our team of professional admissions coordinators works with insurance companies every day to ensure that patients receive the best possible benefits from their policies.
