The price of drug rehab varies across the country, but essentially the basic rule of thumb is that you get what you pay for. Some rehabs are more expensive than others because of their location and amenities. Promises in Malibu and Cliffside Malibu are two expensive rehabs, but they have produced no better results than many other cheaper rehabs, the difference is that they are located in expensive locations and include many services in their prices. For example, massages and psychiatric care may be included in the cost of treatment, whereas at other cheaper treatment facilities the cost of psychiatric care and therapy is an additional cost. One treatment facility may have 500 thread count sheets and another may have Jersey Sheets. It’s all in the look and feel of the treatment facility. When deciding what addiction treatment facility to send your loved one to, look at the program and what’s included in the price of the treatment. Beware of ancillary charges and make sure the drug treatment program is 12-Step based.
