More strength has just been added to the Northbound St. Louis commitment to remain an anchor for those throughout East Missouri seeking recovery from an alcohol or substance abuse disorder.
Northbound Treatment Services of Missouri announced this morning that an agreement was reached to have Anthem Insurance in-network, bringing greater accessibility to the Outpatient services (including individual/group therapy and individual case management) provided from the Northbound St. Louis offices in downtown Kirkwood.
“This development is an important step to broadening access to treatment in St. Louis,” Devon Wayt, Northbound’s Vice President of Operations, stated after the contract was finalized. “We welcome Anthem members who are in need of our services. Every participant can reach Northbound’s mission of celebrating one year of continuous sobriety. This important milestone and singleness of purpose compels our team members to provide service excellence throughout the treatment process and eliminate obstacles to lasting recovery.”
Anthem joins ValueOptions (now under Beacon Health Options) as the healthcare insurance providers in-network with Northbound St. Louis. The plans confirmed in Anthem’s contract with Northbound St. Louis are Blue Access, Blue Access Choice, Blue Preferred, Pathway/Pathway X and Traditional.
Those living in St. Louis and the surrounding areas requiring outpatient treatment may find the therapeutic environment and evidenced-based modalities offered at Northbound St. Louis ideal (it’s imperative first that any client in the program has had their abstinence from alcohol or drugs stabilized through detoxification).
Participating in the program allows clients to continue solidifying their recovery lifestyle with the ongoing guidance, motivation and accountability of their treatment team and community of sober peers locally. Northbound St. Louis lists its statement of purpose as assisting clients in successfully achieving one year of continuous sobriety.
Northbound St. Louis is a Joint Commission-accredited behavioral healthcare provider specializing in treating adults suffering from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Anthem, Inc., is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association serving members in 14 different states. It should be emphasized only those in Missouri enrolled with Anthem have access to its in-network benefits at Northbound St. Louis.
